Follow your mentions in the Mentions tab

The Mentions tab collects every time a teammate mentioned you with @, from every unit, newest first.

2 min

Steps

1
Open the notifications and choose the Mentions tab.
2
Click a mention to open the record and the comment.
3
A mention is marked as read when you read its notification, and the other way around.
4
To mark them all as read, open the Mentions tab and press Mark this tab as read.

How it works

Each mention shows the comment’s text, its author, the record, the time, and whether you’ve read it.

Read mentions stay in the list. Deleted comments disappear from it.

The Mentions tab is for @ mentions only. The Comment on your record notification doesn’t show in it.

Opening the Comments tab of a record doesn’t clear your mentions.

A real example

Namaa Academy
The situation

The supervisor is mentioned dozens of times a day.

What they did
  1. She starts her day from the Mentions tab, and opens the unread ones first.
The result

No approval request gets lost among the general comment notifications.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Press Unread to show only unread mentions; they’re also highlighted in the list.
50 mentions per page.
If your permissions change, the mention stays, and your access is checked when you open the record.
