Set a default session for team alerts on WhatsApp
The default session is the number Corteksa uses to send WhatsApp alerts to your team: a record assigned to them, a mention in a comment, or old chats finished loading.

Steps
What does the default session send?
An alert is sent only if the default session is Working and the employee has a mobile number in their profile. If the session disconnects, alerts stop silently until it’s back.
Alert messages show as regular chats on the default session, and they’re sent at a human pace, with the typing indicator.
A workspace has only one default session. Setting a new one cancels the old one, and the change is recorded in the activity log of both sessions.
If something goes wrong
A real example
The receptionists don’t keep the app open all the time, so they’re slow to see the appointments assigned to them.
- The management made its internal number the default session.
- Each receptionist added her mobile number to her profile.
Every booking assigned to a receptionist now reaches her straight away as a WhatsApp message with the record link.
