Steps

1
In Edit layout, press Add widget, choose Leaderboard and press Continue. Then choose the unit.
2
Choose the Measure, the field and the Date field.
3
Set Rows to show (from 1 to 50).
4
Optional: a second number in Secondary value, with another measure and field.
For example, Count as the main number and Sum as the second: “12 deals · SAR 120,000”.
5
Press Continue, then press Add widget.

How it works

The ranking uses the record’s current primary owner. Records with no owner, or with an owner who’s no longer in the workspace, are combined in one “Unassigned” row at the end. There’s no “Other” row.

Ranking uses the exact value before rounding, so two names that show the same number keep their real order. Ties are sorted alphabetically.

The second number doesn’t change the ranking, and it’s rounded with its field’s decimal places and currency. If calculating it fails, the whole widget shows an error; rows never show with half their numbers.

Amounts in other currencies show separately for each row, and don’t affect the ranking.

A real example

Shield Security Co.
The situation

The manager rewards whoever does best on renewals.

What they did
  1. Leaderboard: the contracts unit, Sum of “Value”, top 10.
  2. Second number: Count.
  3. Date range: this quarter.
The result

The team sees the ranking every week, and renewals went up.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Rows to show up to 50.
Only one second number.
