Add widgets and arrange them on the dashboard

Go into Edit layout mode, add widgets with a live preview, and drag and resize them on the grid. Moving widgets doesn’t recalculate the numbers.

Before you start · for owners and managers
Edit access to the dashboard
  • You need: Edit access to the dashboard

Steps

1
Open the dashboard and press Edit layout.
2
Press Add widget, choose a widget type and press Continue.
Only the types your workspace supports show.
3
Type the Title (up to 80 characters) and, if you want, the Description (up to 200 characters), then set up the settings.
A live preview with real numbers shows before you add it.
4
Press Continue to review it, then press Add widget.
It’s placed below the current widgets, or where you chose.
5
Drag the widgets and resize them, then press Done editing.

The grid and sizes

The grid has 12 columns on large screens, 10 on medium screens, 6 on small screens and 4 on phones. Each size keeps its own layout.

Widget
Smallest size (width × height)
KPI, Goal, Conversation, Ratio
2 × 2
Chart, Funnel, Leaderboard, Embed, Activity
3 × 3
Table, Campaign performance
4 × 3
Text
2 × 1

Widget actions

Action
What happens
Edit widget
Change all the settings, or even the type, while it keeps its place
Duplicate
An identical copy, placed below the original in every size
Remove from dashboard
The widget is deleted, and its place is removed from the grid. Undo brings it back right away

Live preview

The preview calculates the widget as if it were saved, with the current filters and your own permissions. It isn’t stored, and it counts toward your requests-per-minute limit, so don’t change the settings too quickly.

An old or invalid widget

Widgets from the previous version that are no longer supported (such as the old summary and workload widgets) show to editors only, as a card that offers a replacement. Edit it and choose a new type, and it keeps its place. A widget that was hidden in the previous version shows to editors with an option to show it.

Two people editing at the same time

If a teammate saved a change to the dashboard before you, your save is refused and nothing is written, and a message says someone else changed the dashboard. Reload the dashboard and apply your change again.

A real example

Basma Clinics
The situation

The front-desk manager wants the most important numbers at the top of the screen.

What they did
  1. She added 3 KPIs (today’s bookings, this week’s bookings, cancellations), each 4 columns wide.
  2. She put the unanswered chats under them.
  3. She tried each widget in the preview before saving it.
The result

The screen can be read in 5 seconds, and the order stays the same on the manager’s phone.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Up to 30 widgets per dashboard by default (1–100, depending on the owner’s setting).
The title is 1–80 characters, and the description up to 200 characters.
One widget’s settings can be up to 128 KB (except HTML embeds).
