Create a table or Kanban view
A view is a saved tab that sets how the data looks: a table or a Kanban, with filters, sorting and columns. Views are shared with the whole team, and each person sees in them what their permissions allow.

Table or Kanban?
Type
Good for
Table
Reviewing, quick editing and column totals. It can be split into sections by a field
Kanban
Following stages visually, and dragging cards between columns
Views are shared
There are no private views. A view and its column layout are the same for everyone. The only personal parts are your default view and your saved filters.
The assignee filter “Me” means the person who opens the view, so the same view shows each employee their own records.

What you see
Why
What to do
“No select fields available to create a Kanban view”
The unit has no field that can be used for grouping.
Add a select or status field. See Field types: the full list and when to use each.
My teammate sees a different count in the same view
Your permissions are different.
This is expected. See Permissions: Allowed, Team-wide access, If responsible, Denied.
A real example
Namaa Academy
The situation
The supervisor wants to see the clients’ path from “New” to “Enrolled” at a glance.
What they did
- She created a Kanban grouped by the “Stage” field.
- She added a “My clients today” table view, filtered by assignee = “Me” and created date = “Today”.
The result
Every employee opens the same view and sees their own clients, and the supervisor sees the whole team’s pipeline.
A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.
Good to know
The types available are table and Kanban only.
Editing a view needs the edit permission, and deleting it needs the delete permission.
The unit’s main tab can’t be deleted.
