Permission to edit document templates
- You need: Permission to edit document templates
Steps
1
Open the document template in the Document Generator.
2
Insert a QR code and choose Record link (
{{record_link}}).3
Print the document for any record.
The code opens that same record.
How it works
The link opens the record in the right workspace. Someone without permission to view the record doesn’t see its data after opening the link.
If the link can’t be built, it’s left empty and no QR code is drawn.
A real example
Shield Security Co.
The situation
A technician on site wants to open the fire extinguisher contract from the sticker.
What they did
- They added a QR code with the record link to the “Maintenance card” template that’s stuck on the equipment.
The result
The technician scans the sticker with their phone, opens the equipment’s record and logs the visit.
A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.
Good to know
Scanning needs a Corteksa sign-in.
The link follows the record, even after it’s moved to another unit.
