Open the unit’s settings → Fields, and choose the date field.
2
Turn on Notify when this date arrives.
3
Decide whether to keep Also create a linked task on (it’s on by default).
4

How it works
The reminder arrives as a notification in the app and on the phone, and opens the record directly. Its title reads like “Visit date is due today” or “Visit date is due in an hour”.
The follow-up task is titled “Field name: Record name”. It’s due the same day, assigned to the same person and linked to the record.
Each due date is reminded once. Changing the date turns the reminder on again.
