The record details page, its tabs and badges
The record page brings together everything about the client: fields, relations, tasks, files, comments, chats and activity. Badges tell you what needs your attention.
Tab badges and the Activity tab may not be turned on for your account yet. Contact support to turn them on.
How it works
Choose View Details from the row menu, or click the record’s name.
Tab badges
A badge disappears at zero. Opening the Comments tab marks the comments as read, but doesn’t clear your mentions.
On a record you’ve never opened, all its comments count as unread. If you don’t have the chats permission, a dash shows instead of the number.
Also from the row menu: Generate Document (Document templates: quotes, contracts and invoices as PDF) and Move to Another Unit (Move a record from one unit to another).
A real example
A doctor opens a patient’s file before the appointment and wants to see what’s new, fast.
- He notices a comments badge showing “2” and a red tasks badge.
Before the patient comes in, he reads the 2 notes from reception and sees that the X-ray image hasn’t been uploaded yet.
