Steps
1
Open Page background and choose Watermark.

Type the text, such as “Draft”.
3
Set the Tilt, Size and Strength.
The default tilt is −45 degrees, the size 72 pt, and the strength 15%.
4
Save and preview.
How it works
The watermark shows in the center of the page, inside the margins.
You can show it on every page or on the first page only, or turn it off on specific pages. See Add a background color or image, on every page or on one.
The watermark is fixed in the template. To show it on drafts only, make a copy of the template named “Draft”.

The situation
Quotes were sent to clients before approval and used as if they were final.
What they did
- A “Draft offer” template with a “Not approved” watermark at 20% strength.
- An “Approved offer” template with no watermark.
The result
Clients recognize a draft offer straight away.
A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.
Good to know
The text is up to 60 characters.
The size is between 12 and 200 pt.
Strength goes up to 60%, so it doesn’t hide the text.
