Steps

Open Page background in the editor.

Choose the type: no background, a color, an image, or a watermark.

For an image: upload it, and choose how it fits: Fill the page to cover the whole page, or Whole image to show all of the image.
The image shows behind every page.

Set the focal point and the zoom to show part of the image.

Set the Strength.

An image that covers the page runs to the edge of the paper, while the text stays inside the margins.
If the number of pages changes with the record, the closing page background moves with it to the last page.

Use fewer special pages, and use the document background for the rest.

The company has printed letterhead paper, and wants its quotes to look the same.
What they did
- They scanned the letterhead as a PNG and made it a Fill the page background for every page.
- A cover with a different image as the first page’s background.
- The technical table page with no background.

The image can be up to 8 MB.
Up to 20 pages with their own background, and up to 500 pages without a background.
Strength goes up to 100% for both the color and the image.
