Find a dashboard in the library: tabs, search and filters

Every dashboard you open, in one place: tabs, a search that understands Arabic, filters by folder and owner, and sorting by last update, name or number of widgets.

5 min

Steps

1
Open Dashboards.
2
Choose a tab, type in Search dashboards, or filter by a folder under Folders or by owner in All owners.
3
Click a dashboard to open it, or select several dashboards for bulk actions (Delete, move, favorite or pin several dashboards at once).

How it works

Tab
Shows
All dashboards (the default)
Every dashboard you can open. For the workspace owner and super admins: every dashboard in the workspace, even ones not shared with them
Created by me
Dashboards you own
Shared with me
Dashboards others shared with you
Favorites
Your starred dashboards

Next to each tab is its number of dashboards. The folders list shows how many dashboards each folder holds, with Not in a folder at the end.

Search

Search ignores Arabic diacritics and letter stretching, and treats أ/إ/آ/ا, ى/ي and ة/ه as the same letter. “احمد” finds “أحمد”.

What each row shows

The icon and color, the name and description, the owner (with a mark if they’re no longer active), the folder, the sharing type (private, shared, everyone), up to 3 member photos, the number of widgets, favorite and pin, and the last update.

Only people who can edit see the names of the people it’s shared with. A viewer sees the owner and the count.

Pinned dashboards show as a bar at the top (Pin the dashboards you use every day).

If something goes wrong

What you see
Why
What to do
All dashboards doesn’t show dashboards that weren’t shared with you
Only the owner and super admins see every dashboard there.
That’s expected.
A teammate’s dashboard isn’t showing
They haven’t shared it with you.
Ask them to share it with you.
Filtering by an owner gives an empty page
That owner has no dashboards you can see.
That’s expected.

Good to know

Search takes up to 100 characters.
A page shows 25 dashboards by default (10–100).
Bulk actions work on up to 50 dashboards.
