The “Export dashboards” permission + access to open the dashboard
You need: The “Export dashboards” permission + access to open the dashboard
Steps
1
Open the dashboard and press Export.
2
Choose the Page size (A4 or Letter) and the Orientation (Portrait or Landscape). The file uses your interface language.
3
Press Export PDF.
The request goes into the queue, and you get a notification when it’s ready.
4
Press Download in the notification, or in My exports.
How it works
The file prints the numbers with the filters you sent, using the lower of what you can see and the export permission on each unit. A widget you’re not allowed to export shows “Export not allowed” in its place, with the unit’s name.
Charts print as label/value tables with colored bars. Arabic reads right to left, with an embedded font. Text and embed widgets show placeholder text in their place. The sparkline isn’t printed.
A goal prints “Remaining” and “Days left”. A leaderboard prints the second number. Activity prints as a list of lines.
File name: the dashboard’s name with the date, in the workspace’s time zone.
Your access is checked again before the download; if your access was removed, the export or the download fails.
