The Edit permission on the channel
- You need: The Edit permission on the channel
Steps
1
Open the channel settings and choose the session.
2
In Enabled features, turn off Messages or Comments, then press Disable.
The feature stops right away for this session.
3
To turn it back on, choose Reconnect for messaging or Reconnect for comments from the session’s menu.
How it works
When comments are off, no new comments arrive, and replying to them, hiding them and deleting them is refused.
On TikTok, turning off messages stops them in Corteksa only; nothing changes in your TikTok account.
You can’t turn off both features. To stop everything, choose Deactivate from the session’s menu: the session stops and keeps its chats, and Activate turns it back on. Delete removes the session, and its chats stay, read-only.

A real example
Basma Clinics
The situation
The clinic wants private messages only, and the marketing team handles comments from the Facebook app.
What they did
- The owner turned off comments for the page.
The result
The inbox is now for patients only, with no comments.
A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.
Good to know
At least one feature must stay on.
