Import period and sync: what’s imported and when it updates
When you connect, the last 90 days of your email are imported. After that, new email arrives within seconds, with a backup check every 5 minutes.
Steps
How it works
The import covers the last 90 days, counted from the day you connect. Older email isn’t imported, and there’s no option to change the period.
Gradual import: emails are imported in batches of 100. Attachments aren’t downloaded during the import, but when you open them. A paused import continues from where it stopped.
After the import: new incoming email arrives within seconds. Corteksa also checks every mailbox every 5 minutes as a backup. To check right away, use Sync now.
If something goes wrong
A real example
The sales mailbox on Gmail gets hundreds of emails a day.
- The owner connected it at the start of the day.
- The team kept working during the import.
The last 90 days finished importing in about two hours, and new email arrived instantly from the start.
