Member ranks: owner, super admin and member

Every workspace has three ranks. The owner and super admins go past the permissions matrix. Ranks protect whoever is higher: no one edits someone above them, and no one edits themselves.

How it works

Rank
How many
Permissions
Who manages them
Owner
Only one
Sees and does everything. The bill is in their name, and only they transfer or delete the workspace
No one, from the members page
Super admin
No set number
Sees and does everything in the data, and opens Billing and Audit Logs
The owner only
Member
Any number
Depends on their roles
Anyone with the permission to edit users

Fixed rules

No one edits their own roles or status. No one grants a role with a permission they don’t have. Only the owner sets another member’s password. The super admin rank can’t be given through an invitation.

Tasks for the owner only

Transferring ownership and deleting the workspace. The Billing page, Audit Logs and workspace settings are for the owner and super admins.

Signing in on your behalf

When Corteksa support works in your workspace with your approval, it works with the permissions of the account it represents, according to the matrix, without the owner’s overrides. Each approval works once, for up to 8 hours.

Good to know

One owner per workspace.
A rank change takes effect within a minute at most.
