A template’s category and language, and its name at Meta
The category decides how Meta reviews the template and who it reaches. The language sets the approved template’s language. And the template’s name at Meta is derived automatically from its slug.
Available languages
English, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, French. 5 languages.
Choose the language the text is actually written in. Meta may reject a template whose chosen language doesn’t match its content.
The template’s name at Meta
Meta only accepts names made of lowercase English letters, digits and underscores. So Corteksa derives the name from the template’s slug, such as template_order_confirmation. The name you type, such as an Arabic name, stays as the display name in Corteksa.
The name must be unique, together with the language, inside the business account. And the name and language can’t change after the template is sent to Meta.
The Transactional and Notification categories are for organizing templates inside Corteksa. Meta treats both as Utility.

If something goes wrong
A real example
The “Lecture reminder” template was rejected because it was classed as marketing.
- They removed the phrase “Sign up for the next course” from the text.
- They changed the category to Utility and sent it again.
The template was approved, and it now reaches even people who stopped marketing messages.
