Set working hours so an employee gets clients only on shift

Turn on working hours for the employee and set the start, the end, the days and their time zone. Outside those hours, they don’t get clients from automatic or manual distribution.

Lead distribution is a paid Add-on. If you can’t find it in your account, contact support to turn it on.

Steps

1
First, make sure the employee’s Timezone in their own profile is right, such as Riyadh or Dubai.
2
Open Settings → Members, and choose Edit user for the employee.
3
Under Working Hours, tick Enable.
4
Set the Hours: the start and the end in 24-hour format, such as 09:00 and 17:00.
5
Choose the Days. The default is Monday to Friday, so change it to your work week, such as Sunday to Thursday.
6
Press Update.

How it works

Setting
Example
Result
Regular shift
09:00 → 17:00
Gets clients from 9 AM until just before 5 PM.
Night shift
22:00 → 06:00
Gets clients from 10 PM until just before 6 AM.
Start = end
00:00 → 00:00
Gets clients all day on work days.

The time is calculated in the employee’s own time zone, not the workspace’s. On a night shift, the work day is checked by the current moment’s date.

These personal working hours are for distribution. The workspace’s business hours and holidays are a separate setting.

If the time zone can’t be read, the employee counts as on shift, so the client isn’t lost.

A real example

Namaa Academy
The situation

Ads bring clients until midnight, and one employee works evenings.

What they did
  1. Three employees from 09:00 → 17:00, Sunday to Thursday.
  2. The evening employee from 17:00 → 01:00.
  3. A fallback: Assign to Default User, for the other hours.
The result

Every client goes to whoever is on shift, and nothing piles up on people who have left.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

The default when you turn it on: 09:00 → 18:00, Monday to Friday.
The end isn’t included: a shift until 17:00 doesn’t get clients at 17:00.
One shift per day.
