Build an automation with the AI automation builder

From the WorkFlow Builder, describe what you want: “When a new client comes from Instagram, send a welcome and create a call task”. It suggests a plan that passes the save check, and it never publishes anything by itself.

The permission to edit automations
  • You need: The permission to edit automations

Steps

1
Open the automation and press Ask AI.
2
Describe what you want, or answer its question cards.
3
Review the plan card. Its steps show on your canvas, and nothing is built until you approve.
4
Choose Approve & build to write it to the canvas, type a change, or choose Decline. If the automation is on, the button is Approve as a draft.
5
Publish the automation and turn it on yourself. See Create your first automation and test it safely.

How it works

The assistant sees the saved automation, the library of triggers and actions, and 24 ready templates. It can try the automation on one record without saving anything.

If the automation is on, the card shows how many times it ran in the last 30 days. For the “field stayed the same” trigger, it shows how many records would start right away.

If a teammate saves the automation while it’s planning, nothing is written and it plans again.

A real example

Namaa Academy
The situation

The supervisor doesn’t know how to build automations.

What they did
  1. She wrote: “When a client comes from an Instagram ad, send the welcome template and create a call task within an hour for the assignee”.
  2. She answered its questions, checked each step of the plan on the canvas, then chose Approve & build.
The result

A ready automation waiting to be published, and the supervisor saw how it works before approving it.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Available from the WorkFlow Builder only.
It never publishes a draft, and a new automation is created paused.
It doesn’t show message templates or mailboxes; it asks you for the template.
A WhatsApp template not approved by Meta can’t run.
It doesn’t rename the automation or change the canvas layout.
2 rounds of questions, and after 3 plans refused by the save check, it stops.
