AI credits: what counts and how to buy more

Each workspace has monthly credits based on its plan, charged at the actual cost of each request. Extra packs are used after the monthly credits run out, and they don’t expire at the end of the month.

Buying needs an active subscription and a saved card, and the card is charged right away. So you can’t buy a pack during the trial or in read-only mode. See Your subscription: the trial, its states and read-only mode.

What counts

Requests to the four agents, and the AI panel in automations. Each request is charged at its actual cost.

Free: greetings and thanks, and routing your message. Automation and document work inside a workspace build is charged once, with the build.

A resent message isn’t charged twice.

Advance hold

Before each request, a small amount of credit is held for a moment: 10 for the default agent and the workspace builder, 3 for documents and 2 for automations. So a request can be refused when the balance shown is very low.

Monthly credits are counted per calendar month.

What they did
  1. The owner bought a pack of 1,000 credits.
The result

The team kept going, and what was left of the pack carried over to the next month.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Credits are shared by the whole workspace.
Packs are used after the monthly credits run out.
When credits run out, the request is refused before it starts, and nothing is done.
